


This is the staff team. The team ensures that the Partnership achieves its goals by carrying out the practical actions necessary to make the strategic aims of the Directors, and the wishes of the Membership, become reality.
Craig Pugh took up the reigns as South Sheffield Partnership Manager in mid-March 2007. He joins the Partnership after managing the Academy for Community Leadership, and said: “I’m thrilled to be heading up a regeneration body with a huge amount of energy and potential: there’s an incredible buzz about the partnership, and South Sheffield is a great place to be”
Craig brings with him a background in community and organisational development, alongside skills and qualifications as a professional trainer.
Since arriving in Sheffield to study degrees in English Literature, and Sociology and Politics at Sheffield University in the early 90’s, Craig has been active in his local community. This has included stints on the committees of Broomhall Centre, Firvale Community Forum, and Friends of Osgathorpe Park. He is a trustee director of a Sheffield refugee charity and still finds time to cultivate his own allotment near his home in Firvale.
Florence has twenty years experience of working in the voluntary and community sector with a BSc in Psychology, MSc in Organisational Management and Chartered Institute of Personnel Management Qualified including level 4 in Training and Organisational Management.
Florence has had several management roles and also spent time as a consultant for Doncaster Council, Doncaster Learning Partnership, DACRO, Rotherham Council and Rotherham College. Keen to maintain her interest in Adult learning Florence returned to Doncaster College to complete a PGCE certificate from which she graduates this year.
In January 2007 Florence joined South Sheffield Partnership to Manage the BME Infrastructure Project along side, which she continues to maintain her links with CEDR. This is a demanding and rewarding position, which continues Florence’ s personal Skills development and knowledge around procurement.
Hafren came to work for South Sheffield Partnership in January 2008. Before that she had worked as an advisor for the Environment Agency, and as admin support in the steel and metal alloy industries.
Hafren was born and lived in Sharrow, Sheffield, before jetting off to the United World College of the Adriatic, Italy and then going to study Social and Political Sciences at Cambridge University. During these studies she developed an interest for international development and social change.
Since returning to Sheffield, Hafren has volunteered teaching English as a second language, has dabbled in some Tango classes, and has recently become a trustee for Sharrow Community Forum.
Hafren joined the Partnership to support and learn from people who are making a positive social change in and around where she grew up.
